The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce is a group that helps promote businesses in the Bahamas. They approached me to create a new brand design that would help them better communicate their mission to their audience. The Chamber of Commerce wanted a brand that was modern, fresh, and represented the spirit of the Bahamas.

Research and Analysis

To understand the Chamber's values and goals, I conducted a series of interviews with key stakeholders in the organization. I also researched other Chambers of Commerce around the world to identify trends and areas for differentiation. I analyzed the existing branding of the Chamber to identify areas of improvement.

Design and Iteration

Based on my research insights, I began designing several concepts that incorporated elements of the Bahamian culture, such as vibrant colors and beach-inspired motifs. I also explored different typographic treatments and iconography to create a brand that was both modern and professional.

After presenting the initial design concepts to the client, we decided to move forward with a design that featured a stylized wave icon as the centerpiece of the brand. The icon was designed to communicate the dynamic and vibrant nature of the Bahamian business environment.

I then made iterative changes to the design to improve its overall appeal and functionality. We experimented with different color palettes and typography until we arrived at a final design that felt both modern and represented the spirit of the Bahamas.

Final Product

The final product was a brand design that effectively communicated the Chamber of Commerce's mission and values to their audience. The stylized wave icon was used across all brand materials, including business cards, letterheads, and the Chamber's website. The use of vibrant colors and beach-inspired motifs created a sense of the Bahamian culture and business environment, while the typography communicated a modern and professional feel. The client was pleased with the final design, and the brand was well-received by businesses in the Bahamas.
